  • Leadership changes

    On December 31, 2020 professor Wacław Marzantwoicz stepped down from the position of Head of the Department. Professor Marzantowicz, we thank you for a year of your leadership. On January 1st, 2021 professor Dariusz Bugajewski was appointed as the new Head of the Department.

  • Seminar: Nonlinear Analysis 16-06-2020

    16-06-2020 | Piotr Kasprzak: On some fixed point theorems for strongly expansive mappings The aim of this seminar is to familiarize the participants with certain fixed point theorems for strongly expansive mappings. We will also present an example application of such theorems in solving a generalized Fredholm equation in spectral form.
